PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a molten member to be caulked is pulled out when a press member for heat caulking is extracted so that burrs are generated on the surface of the member to be caulked, and the molten member to be caulked is adhered to the surface of the press member as refuse. SOLUTION: The press member for heat caulking is formed from a transmission member for transmitting heat from a heat source and pressure from a pressure source and a caulking part which is formed at the end part of the transmission member, has a circumference larger than that of the transmission member, contacts the member to be caulked to transmit heat and pressure to the member. The resin member to be caulked is heat-caulked by these members. A resin on the periphery of a place to be caulked can be solidified early, and the press member for heat caulking which can prevent the generation of burrs and refuse can be provided.
