PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning device which fixed the cleaning capacity independently of the distance from a suction hole by preventing toner sticking to the wall surface of a suction duct part of housing in the cleaning device for an electrophotographic device. SOLUTION: In the cleaning device for the electrophotographic device provided with the cleaning device of the air suction system which sweeps away toner on a member 1 to be cleaned by a brush 2 or the like, the sectional shape in the lengthwise direction of the suction duct part of a housing 3 is changed in accordance with change of the distance from a suction hole 7. Specifically, the width of the housing in the suction duct part is made narrower according as going away from the suction hole 7.
