PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface modifier which can allow the surface of a film- forming material, such as ink and coating material, and a molding material to exhibit excellent lubricity, scratch resistance, water repellency and chemical resistance, the modifier adhering firmly to the surface so as not to readily lose surface-modifying effects, while exhibiting surface-modifying effects equivalent to those of the conventional ones, particularly the modifier being not washed away by a hot-water treatment and the like. SOLUTION: The surface modifier comprises a polyester composite resin (A) formed by reacting a monool (a) containing a 25-200C hydrocarbon, a polybasic acid (b) and a polyhydric alcohol (c). |
