PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spiral gasket of low cost, capable of improving productivity by facilitating installation work for a gasket body to an outer ring, regardless of the outside diameter of the gasket body, and to improve product quality. SOLUTION: A first protruded part 3f protruded radially inward and a second protruded part 3g, of which the protruding length in the radially inward direction is longer than the first protruded part, are respectively provided on the side of one-side surface 3d and on the side of the other side surface 3e of an inner circumferential part 3a of the outer ring 3. An inner circumferential part 3a is thus formed, to have an asymmetric cross-sectional form. By caulking the part of the first protruded part 3f at plural positions, a caulked part 3h, protruded and deformed radially inward is formed, and by the second protruded part 3g and the caulked part 3h, the gasket body 2 is held.
