PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display system and electronic spectacles capable of reducing electric power consumption. SOLUTION: This display system 10 has terminal equipment 11, having first display means 23 and 24 capable of displaying image information and electronic spectacles 12 which have second display means 32 and 33, capable of displaying the image information. The electronic spectacles 12, further have detecting means 35 for detecting whether the electronic spectacles are worn at the head and spectacle control means 36 for controlling the supply of a power source to the second display means, according to the result of the detection by the detection means. The terminal equipment 11 further has terminal control means 36 for controlling the supply of a power source to the first display means, according to the result of the detection by the detection means.
