PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a mechanical two-stage and multistage parking device even in a place having a low ceiling by constituting the upper pallet so as to be foldable and bendable, and retreating the upper pallet when raising the lower pallet in the opening part of a pit. SOLUTION: This device comprises the lower pallet 8 elevatably provided in order to house an automobile 6 in the pit 7, the upper pallet 11 formed expansibly in order to close the opening part in the upper part of the pit 7 to place the automobile 6 thereon and foldably in order to open the opening part 10, and an evacuate area 12 provided in a position adjacent to the opening part 10 of the pit 7 in order to retreat the upper pallet 11 in the folded state from the opening part 10 of the pit 7.
