PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for automatically discharging a fixed quantity of water, which can automatically discharge the water in the fixed quantity while dispensing with a power source such as a power supply and artificial manipulation, and which is used to flush a public lavatory, flush excrement in a breeding shed for animals, prevent sedimentation in a channel, etc., and meet other purposes. SOLUTION: This device is composed of a water tank 2, a feed pipe 3, a drain pipe 4, the first valve seat 5, a large-diameter pipe 6, the second valve seat 7, a valve body 8, an overflow pipe 9 and a float means 10. The device is provided particularly with the large-diameter pipe 6 which is provided in a bottom part of the water tank 2 so as to be concentric with the drain pipe 4, the overflow pipe 9 which is provided inside the water tank 2 in order to make water flow in between the drain pipe 4 and the large-diameter pipe 6 when a prescribed water level H is reached, and the float means 10 which makes the valve body 8 abut on the valve seats 5 and 7 by water-depth pressure P until the water level H is reached and which makes the valve body 8 float so as to make the valve body 8 separated from the valve seats 5 and 7 when the water level H is reached.
