PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an aqueous dispersion-type polymer in which the ratio of a polymerizable monomer in an emulsion is raised, the drying efficiency of the resulted aqueous dispersion-type polymer in coating is improved, the temperature control in the polymerization is easy and the polymer can be produced well and to provide a production device. SOLUTION: In an emulsifying apparatus 2, the emulsion is prepared by emulsifying the polymerizable monomer with an emulsifier and water. After defoaming the emulsion in a defoaming apparatus 3, in a dropping apparatus 5, the defoamed emulsion is dropped to a polymerization apparatus 4 wherein a water containing at least polymerization initiator is prepared.
