PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt fixing device which does not cause image break due to the rubbing of an image because recording material is prevented from being dropped and it does not come into contact with a fixing belt even when the latter half part of transfer paper is separated from a paper feeding roller and set free. SOLUTION: A fixing nip part 69 is formed by the fixing belt 61 wound round a fixing roller 63 and a pressure roller 62 press-contacting with the roller 63 via the belt 61, and the roller 63 is formed in drum shape that its center part 63c is thick and its both ends 63a and 63b are thin with reference to its rotation center line 100, and the roller 62 is formed in drum shape that its center part 62c is thin and its both ends 62a and 62b are thick with reference to its rotation center line 101.
