<p>A gas turbine frame (36) has inner and outer annular bands (44 and 46) joined by hollow struts (48) extending through the bands. An outer conical support arm (50) extends from the outer band, and an inner conical support arm (52) extends from the inner band. Spaced apart openings (54,56) are provided in the inner and outer conical support arms respectively, in linear aligned pairs and with the hollow passages passing through the struts. The openings (56) in the outer support arm may be of substantially rectangular platform shape or they may be triangular. The frame is a single piece integral casting. An independent claim is included for a gas turbine assembly.</p> |
