PURPOSE: A vibrationproof device of a building is provided to effectively deal with an external horizontal force such as an earthquake by preventing the inflow of exterior impurities into an outer wall of the building. CONSTITUTION: The vibrationproof device of a building comprises an upper member(3) having a spherical first contact surface(2) on its bottom portion; a lower member(7) having a spherical second contact surface(5) on its top portion and an outer periphery wall portion(6); a flange(8) between the upper member and the lower member; an elastic member(9) fixed between the upper member and the flange and the lower member and the flange; a moving member(12) having a first support surface(10) contacting with the first contact surface and a second support surface(11) contacting with the second contact surface; a plurality of small bosses formed on the support surfaces and the first and second contact surfaces; and an elastic filling material(13) charged inside the outer periphery wall portion.
