PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide printing system wherein a printing process being suitable for the kind of a heat-sensitive paper which is set by a paper replacement is possible, a thermal printer, a printing control method, and an information recording medium. SOLUTION: A printing head control circuit 811 stores, e.g. black printing picture element data and red printing picture element data to a first data storing buffer 1104a which stores low level coloring printing picture element data, and a second data storing buffer 1104b which stores high level coloring printing picture element data by an address switching unit 1103 based on the kind of a heat-sensitive paper. Also, the printing head control circuit 811 outputs the low level coloring printing picture element data and the high level coloring printing picture element data, and power feeding data based on a specified power feeding pattern to a printing head 152 by a logical circuit unit 1105. |
