PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device capable of surely preventing the intrusion of deteriorated toner without forcing a user to perform troublesome work even when toner can not be supplied to a developing chamber from a toner hopper by the gravity of the toner. SOLUTION: Partitions 20a, 20b and 20c are rotatably provided between the developing chamber 23 and a toner hopper chamber 21a, between the toner hopper chamber 21a and a toner hopper chamber 21b, and between the toner hopper chamber 21b and a toner hopper chamber 21c, respectively. The partition means 20a, 20b and 20c shield the respective toner hopper chambers at the time of stopping, and carries the toner in the toner hopper chamber to the developing chamber 23 at the time of rotating. |
