PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric ceramic having a high curie temperature, small self calorific value with increased mechanical quality factor and large piezoelectric distortion constant, and a layer-build piezoelectric element and a jetting apparatus. SOLUTION: The piezoelectric ceramic is a perovskite type multiple oxide consisting essentially of Pb, Zr and Ti and an A site of the perovskite type multiple oxide is replaced by <=10 mol% with at least one kind of Ca, Sr and Ba and a B site is replaced by <=10 mol% in total with W, Nb, Co and at least one kind of Y, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Lu and Yb. |
