PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new connecting joint capable of connecting a main, a branch pipe and a supporting pipe to a side hole of the existing and new manhole or the like in an adjustable manner of an angle of inclination. SOLUTION: The connecting joint capable of adjusting the angle of inclination of the existing and new manhole or the like, the main, the branch pipe and the supporting pipe is so constituted that the connecting joint used for connecting the main, the branch pipe and the supporting pipe to side holes bored in the existing and new manhole or culvert and the main has a boring hole corresponding to the side holes and is formed of a metal plate capable of being mounted on the outside or the inside of part of the side hole, an inclination is allowed in the metal plate boring hole within a range of 50 deg. in each of up and down and right and left in accordance with site conditions and that an intermediate section in the outside mounting and the basic end of the metal cylindrical body in the inside mounting make weld mounting to slantly mount the main, the branch pipe and the supporting pipe by fitting the angle of inclination at the site.
