PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method and apparatus for an extruded foamed composite showing a low sliding friction between a surface material and a sizing die, causing no unevenness, no line or the like on the surface material and having a beautiful surface. SOLUTION: An extruded foamed composite is manufactured by extruding a foamable resin 10 for a foamed core material from a first die 2, extruding a surface material 30 from a second die 33, making an extruded intermediate product by covering the foamed core material 100 with the surface material 30 to produce an intermediate extruded item while foaming the foamable resin 10 for the foamed core material to form the foamed core material 100 and introducing it to a cooling sizing die 4 to shape it into a predetermined shape while the temperature of the cooling sizing die 4 is controlled in at least two stages such that the temperature of an inlet near to the first die is higher and that of an outlet is lower.
