摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cationic electrodeposition coating material composition which contains a resin composition having sulfonium group and propargyl group and which forms a coating film having good oil repellency, and to provide a method for forming a coating film by using the same. SOLUTION: The cationic electrodeposition coating material composition contains a resin composition having sulfonium group and propargyl group, and crosslinked resin particles obtained by subjecting anα,β-ethylenically unsaturated monomer mixture to emulsion polymerization by using an emulsifier comprising an acrylic resin having ammonium group, wherein the content of the crosslinked resin particles is 3-20 wt.% based on the coating resin solids. It is desirable that the ratio of the solids of the acrylic resin having the ammonium group to theα,β-ethylenically unsaturated monomer mixture is (90:10) to (75:25).
