METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING INK JET HEAD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing ink jet heads which can improve the reliability of an insulating film without decreasing the structural reliability and increasing manufacturing costs. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the ink jet head provided with electrodes 5 and the insulating film 51 for covering the electrodes 5 includes a hydrophilization treatment process for carrying out a plasma process to make a surface of the insulating film 51 hydrophilic. A product of a power density and a processing time in the plasma process is made larger than 0.06 W.s/cm<2> and smaller than 211 W.sec/cm<2> .
