PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promptly fill a deburring chamber, to prevent the elongation of an assembling time and an assembling error, and to eliminate the danger of self-ignition. SOLUTION: In a method for filling the deburring chamber 1 installed in an apparatus for deburring a work by thermal deburring by using a measuring cylinder 9, (1) the cylinder 9 is filled with combustion gas and oxygen, (2) the deburring chamber 1 is filled with the combustion gas, (3) the deburring chamber is filled with oxygen, and (4) the combustion gas and the oxygen in the cylinder 9 are charged simultaneously into the deburring chamber 1.
