PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method of a retaining wall capable of economically constructing the retaining wall preventing the collapse of a steep slope within a short period. SOLUTION: The construction method of the retaining wall is constituted of a process for forming a steep filling section 4 by laying earth retaining members 2 in front of fills 1 and 3 with a predetermined height, a process boring an anchor hole 5 in the filling section 4 and injecting a grout 6 into the anchor hole 5 and a process inserting a tension member 7 into the anchor hole 5, the lower end section thereof is buried in the grout 6 and, at the same time, tensly anchoring in a pressure-receiving plate 8 setting the upper end section in front of the filling section 4.
