PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer recorder in which a coating roller can be coated with power thinly and uniformly and a coating technology suitable for fine granular coating. SOLUTION: The transfer recorder comprises means for ejecting a liquid drop, an intermediate transfer body 51 moving through a gap with respect to the ejecting means, means for forming an image of liquid drops on the intermediate transfer body 51 and transferring the liquid drop image from the intermediate transfer body 51 to a recording body, and means for coating the intermediate transfer body 51 with powder. A roller 15 for coating the intermediate transfer body 51 with powder comprises a plurality of N and S poles arranged alternately in the circumferential direction and each blade 16, 24 abutting against the magnetic poles comprises a magnetic body.
