PURPOSE: A battery for electronic equipments and an electronic equipment adopting the same are provided to obtain a function to store and exchange desired information rapidly and simply. CONSTITUTION: A portable phone comprises a main body(100) and a battery(200). Various major components, including a controller, supplied current from the battery(200) are embedded in the main body(100). The battery(200) is comprised of a cell unit(210), a memory unit(220), and a PCB(Printed Circuit Board). The cell unit(210) is to supply current. The memory unit(220) includes a disk drive(221) to store information. The PCB connects between the cell unit(210) and the memory unit(220). The memory unit(220) is driven by the current supplied from the cell unit(210) of the battery(200). As the battery(220) is combined with the main body(100), the battery(200) is connected to the controller of the main body(100) through connection terminals(110) and the PCB.
