PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damping resin composition having both excellent damping properties and rigidity, and further to provide a molded product of the composition. SOLUTION: This damping resin composition comprises (A) a liquid crystal polymer and (B) a thermoplastic resin, and satisfies the relation between a loss factorηat 1,000 Hz frequency and a flexural modulus E represented by the formula (I):η×E (GPa)>=0.07 (GPa) (I).
