摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocatalyst coated decorative metal panel having a photocatalyst film having high catalytic activity and practical film strength formed thereto, and a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The photocatalyst film 6 is formed to the surface of a metal panel 1 being a base material through synthetic resin layers 2 and 4 and a substrate layer 5. The photocatalyst film 6 is formed by coating the surface of the metal panel with a titanium oxide-containing coating solution, which contains 0.2-15 wt.% of titanium oxide particles (A) with a mean particle size of 0.4-1.5μm and a specific surface area of 50 m<2> /g or more, 0.05-10 wt.% of titanium oxide particles (B) with a mean particle size of 200 nm or less and a specific surface area of 200 m<2> /g or more and 0.1-5 wt.% of a silica compound (as SiO2 ) (C) so that the formulae: (B)/[(A)+(B)]×100=3-25 wt.% and (C)/[(A)+(B)+(C)]=5-30 wt.% are satisfied, and drying the coated metal panel. The synthetic resin layer has the inside resin layer 2 laminated to the metal panel 1 being the base material and the outside resin layer 4 applied to the substrate layer 5.
