PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a one-way clutch which achieves easy manufacturing of a pocket opening formed on the inner circumferential surface of the outer wheel and which prevents fall-out of a roller by impact load or the like. SOLUTION: The one-way clutch comprises a case 2 whose one end is open, an outer wheel 1 accommodated in the case 2, a roller 4 inserted into the required number of pockets 3 provided on the inner peripheral surface of the outer wheel 1, a lid member 5 fitted in the open end of the case 2, a spring piece 21 provided in an annular part 17 of the lid member 5. A cam surface 7 is provided on the undersurface of the pocket 3. The wedge-shaped space is formed between the cam surface 7 and the shaft 6. The roller 4 is energized to the narrow direction in the wedge-shaped space by the spring piece 21. A spring piece 21 and a pair of roller fall protection pieces 22 are provided on the annular part 17 of the lid member 5, whereby respective roller fall protection pieces 22 are inserted into a part of the respective pockets 3 so as to control the width of the opening. |
