<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clean an exhaust gas, involving black smoke discharged from various engines, especially a diesel engine by removing hazardous gases and dust. SOLUTION: A deodorizing and dust-collecting apparatus for an automobile exhaust gas, which can be easily attached or detached at an end of an automobile exhaust pipe and is useful for deodorizing and dust-collecting of the exhaust gas discharged from the above exhaust pipe, is formed by sintering a mixed crude material of ceramic-type clay, firebrick and a chlorite powder, and equipped with a multilayered iron vessel (perforated iron pot), perforated with many holes of 3-12 mm diameter and a spiral coil in the above iron vessel for guiding the introduced exhaust gas to the radial direction of the iron vessel.</p> |
