PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet medium alignment device for preventing the injury of a hand and the breakage of an aligning means due to the interference of the operator's hand with an aligning member during picking out a sheet medium, an image forming device and a sheet medium afterprocessing device. SOLUTION: The aligning means 102a (102b) is movable from a position of aligning operation of the sheet medium on stacking means 12 to a position of storage in a body where it can be stored. It is also movable from the position of storage to the position of aligning operation.
