PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shutter for building capable of definitely preventing the pullout of both the sides of a shutter curtain from guide rails even though the shutter curtain is deflected to indoor or outdoor direction by a strong wind or the like; also assuring smooth rising and falling motions of the shutter curtain; and preventing any damages to slats or an increase in the diameter of the curtain roll after winding. SOLUTION: Recessed locking portions 4 are formed on the same vertical line at interlock portions of each slat forming the shutter curtain 1 at both the ends at the indoor side; and a first projected stripe 3h located at the opening portion of the guide rail 3 in a longitudinal direction at inner wall surface of guide rail at the indoor side and a second projected stripe 3d located from the first projected stripe 3d to the bottom wall surface side of the guide rail 3 are separately arranged and set.
