PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure mounting accuracy of a sensor and to facilitate its mounting work. SOLUTION: In this oxygen sensor 1, by the energizing force of a spring part 17 interlaid between a lead connection part 13 and an element contact part 15 of a lead frame 11, the lead frame 11 sticks firm to the sidewall of a separator sleeve 12, so that one terminal unit 10 is composed. Thereby, the lead frame 11 can be connected to a detection element 2 in a single operation by connecting the terminal unit 10 to the detection element 2. Since mounting of the detection element 2 to a main fitting 7 and electrical connection of the lead frame 11 to the detection element 2 are carried out in separate processes, the detection element 2 can accurately be mounted at a predetermined position of the main fitting 7 independently of the lead frame 11. |
