PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a liquid temperature detection means provided with piping for processing liquid circulation to accurately detect the liquid temperature even in the standby state. SOLUTION: In the standby state which is the non-processing state of a PS plate, a thermistor is used to detect the liquid temperature in the piping; and when the detection result is deviated from a prescribed range, a circulating pump is operated to send a developer in a developing tank into the piping, and the liquid temperature is detected again. At this time, the timing of liquid temperature detection is delayed by a time set on the basis of the capacity of the developing tank and the discharge capability of the circulating pump after operation of the circulating pump (steps 200 to 214). Thus the temperature of the developer is accurately detected, and the temperature of the developer is controlled on the basis of this detection result to keep the developer at a temperature for proper processing of the PS plate even in the standby state. |
