PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relax the impact applied to the interface between a seal and panel substrates to prevent the interfacial peeling of the seal when the two panel substrates bonded to each other via the seal are divided into individual liquid crystal display panels, and to stably manufacture the liquid crystal panels of various shapes. SOLUTION: At least a seal formed part is adopted as the cutting part for dividing the panel substrates into the individual liquid crystal display panels 1 and water pressure is used as a cutting means.
