PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide, as the most major feature, a pouch bag transferring apparatus in a pouch bag filling system capable of preventing an inferior delivery of the pouch bag at a pouch lift apparatus, producing no possibility of displacement in an operation timing at a vertical transferring segment of a pouch bag transferring mechanism even if its processing capability is changed, and further capable of preventing a transferring of the pouch by a lateral transferring mechanism under a state in which an attitude of the pouch bag is collapsed. SOLUTION: There is provided a pouch bag amount detecting segment 60 for use in detecting a residual amount of pouch bags 23a on a pouch lifter outer frame 31 in a pouch lift apparatus 13. A pushing-up pressure for pushing up the pouch lifter outer frame 31 is adjusted in response to the residual amount of the pouch bags 23a. The pushing-up pressure is adjusted such that if the residual amount of the pouch bags 23a is high, the pushing-up pressure is increased and in turn if the residual amount of the pouch bags 23a is less, the pushing-up pressure is decreased.
