PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an excellent image by preventing an abnormal image from occurring at the time of transfer even in the case of consecutively forming the images. SOLUTION: This image forming device is equipped with a transfer device 24 for transferring a toner image on a photoreceptor 1 to a transfer body 13, a fixing device 26 for fixing the toner image by applying at least heat to the toner image on the transfer body, and an in-machine humidity sensor 9. When humidity is detected by the sensor 9 and the detected result is equal to or below a reference value, a transfer current is switch to a set value smaller than a set value in the reference value. Only when the power source of an image forming device main body is turned on, the humidity is detected by the humidity sensor and the above switching operation is performed based on the detected result. |
