<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable intake device at low cost for a multi-cylinder internal combustion engine which can switch an intake characteristic to a plurality of steps by a single intake control valve having a simple structure with a small number of part items. SOLUTION: This variable intake device for a multi-cylinder internal combustion engine connects between an intake collective chamber 5 and each cylinder by intake passages 61 , 62 provided with a pair of intake passage parts, to respectively provide an intake control valve 20 integrally having two valve elements 25, 26 in an opening 11 formed in a partition 7 between one intake passage 62 in a pair of the intake passage parts and the intake collective chamber 5, make the intake control valve 20 operate in accordance with an engine speed of the internal combustion engine, open/close one intake passage 62 by one valve element 25, and open/close the opening 11 of the partition 7 by the other valve element 26.</p> |
