PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera which drives and controls an eyepiece shutter so as to minimize both a loss of an image of an object in a finder and an effect by a reverse incident light from an eyepiece lens. SOLUTION: When image shooting is implemented by using an automatic shooting function, an automatic shooting speed set by a user is checked whether it is greater than the predetermined boundary automatic shooting speed. If the automatic shooting speed set by the user is greater, a system controller 100 implements an image shooting process by a CCD 14 as the system controller 100 opens the eyepiece shutter 16. If the automatic shooting speed set by the user is same as the predetermined boundary automatic shooting speed or less, the system controller 100 implements the image shooting process by the CCD 14 as the system controller 100 opens and closes the eyepiece shutter 16 each time. |
