摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal-injection sealing method and a device having no risk to damage the glass substrate caused by hermetically sealed member, easily operated to take out the liquid crystal inject cell, with minimum incorporation errors, and practically no worry about the damage of the liquid crystal panel itself and about the risk for the seal member to be disengaged. SOLUTION: The device using a liquid crystal-injection sealing method has the following. A chamber 20 which detachably receives a liquid crystal reservoir 32 containing a liquid crystal cell 26 and liquid crystal 34, a pressure reduction device 22 which is possible for the chamber 20 to regulate the inside pressure including the vacuum state, a means to hold the cell 26 and the liquid crystal reservoir 32 adjacent to each other, a pressurizing means 24 capable for keeping the pressure under control so that an inert gas is introduced to restore the inside of the chamber to the atmospheric pressure or making it possible to create a further pressurized state in the chamber, a wiping means to wipe out the liquid crystal adhered to an injection port 28, and a UV irradiation means to photoset the sealing member of the injection port 28. In the chamber 20, a sealing operation is carried out under high pressure, the pressure lower than the pre-determined high pressure, but higher than the atmospheric pressure, within the range of the vacuum state to the pre-determined high-pressure state.
