PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strainer for surely carrying out filtration of an working fluid. SOLUTION: An opening 50 is provided on a bottom part 49 of a coupling housing 2, accommodating a fluid mechanism such as a fluid coupling 9, a wet friction clutch 70, etc., and a mounting part 59, formed on an outer periphery side of an oil pan 58 for accumulating the working fluid which passes and drops off the opening 50, is closely adhered/fixed to the bottom part 49 of the coupling housing 2 via a sealing member 200; a frame body 201 is formed on a periphery of a filter 61 for filtering the working fluid, passing through the opening 50 and is clamped between a groove 202, formed on the bottom part 49 of the coupling housing 2 and a mounting part 59 of the oil pan 58; and a projection part 203, contacting the frame body 201, is formed on an inner periphery of the sealing member 200. A sealing properties are ensured by the projection part 203.
