PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sanitary washing device which can not only prevent a short circuit of equipment inside the device and corrosion of metal parts from being caused by dew condensation but also prevent water from leaking onto a floor, etc., outside a toilet bowl due to condensation liquid water by preventing the dew condensation in the device. SOLUTION: The sanitary washing device, which has a washing nozzle and a heating means for heating washing water, is fitted with a heating means 14 for heating an outer shell 12. Heating the outer shell 14 makes a surface temperature of the outer shell 12 higher than a dew point temperature so as to enable prevention of occurrence of the dew condensation in the equipment inside the device and on a surface of the outer shell 14 of the device, and suppression of malfunctions caused by the dew condensation.
