PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a counterweight structure for a construction machine, which eliminates costs for a press die necessary for a counterweight of a conventional plate working structure, and does not mar the external appearance of the counterweight. SOLUTION: The counterweight which is arranged at a rear end of an upper revolving body of the construction machine, includes casting portions and a filled portion. The casting portions are formed by casting, and constitute at least a rear surface and a part of side surfaces out of external surfaces of the counterweight. The filled portion is obtained by filling the interior of the casting portions with a filler.
