PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photothermal conversion recording type lithographic printing original plate in which images can be formed with high sensitivity, residual films are hardly produced during forming images and abration in the recording layer is suppressed. SOLUTION: The original plate has an IR reflecting layer having >=75% reflectance for IR rays at 800 nm to 1100 nm wavelength and a photosensitive layer successively formed on a substrate. The photosensitive layer contains an IR absorbent, is recordable by exposure to IR rays and transmits IR rays at 800 nm to 1100 nm wavelength by >=10%. The IR ray reflecting layer contains one or more kinds selected from SnO2 , InO2 , tin-doped indium oxide and a mixture of these as the main component and the layer is preferably formed to 1 μm to 8 μm average thickness. |
