<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with door harness for an automobile having no electric equipment, other than electric locks, attached to its doors. SOLUTION: An approximately U-shaped lock member is provided to protrude from the opening/closing side end face of an automobile door and a striker to be locked and unlocked by the lock member is attached to the side of the automobile body which abuts against the opening/closing side end face when the door is closed. A power source comprising a motor or a solenoid for electrically controlling the striker is mounted in the automobile body. A means for operating the power source is provided in the automobile body.</p> |
