<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a vehicle theft detection system easing a communication traffic by reducing the transmission of an unnecessary abnormal signal or a restored signal. SOLUTION: This invention relates to the vehicle theft detection system reporting theft to a monitoring center when the vibration of a vehicle is detected. The vehicle theft detection system is provided with a vibration sensor detecting the vibration of the vehicle, a retention means retaining a detected output of the vibration sensor for a designated time, a report means reporting the theft to the monitoring center via a communication network, and a control means restarting the clocking of the desired time from a beginning whenever the vibration sensor detects, the vibration and reporting an abnormal signal to the monitoring center when the retention means starts to retain the detected output.</p> |
