PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous girder for a bridge capable of improving load-carrying capacity to a negative bending moment around the intermediate fulcrum and reducing strength discontinuity in the bridge axial direction. SOLUTION: This continuous girder 10 for the bridge is provided with a steel beam main body 11 arranged along the bridge axis. In a supported area R1 around the intermediate fulcrum 10a, reinforced concrete 40 is placed in recess parts 11a defined by upper and lower flanges 12 and 13, a web 14, and vertical auxiliary rigid materials 15. A vertical reinforcement 42 (a first reinforcement) of the reinforced concrete 40 is extended vertically along the web 14, and its upper and lower ends are welded to the upper and lower flanges individually. A horizontal reinforcement 43 (a second reinforcement) extended horizontally along the bridge axis is bound to the vertical reinforcement 42 by means of an annealing wire. The supported area R1 is divided into a plurality area parts r1-r3 for the respective recess parts 11a. Concrete strength of the area part r1 on the intermediate fulcrum 10a side is high, while that of the area part r3 in each end of the area R1 is low. |
