PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of a problem such that water droplets make a short circuit established in an operating switch on a circuit board so as to cause the malfunction and failure of a sanitary washing device. SOLUTION: The sanitary washing device is equipped with a washing water discharging unit for discharging washing water heated at a prescribed temperature, a control unit for controlling the washing water discharging unit, and an operating unit for operating the control unit. The washing water discharging unit is housed in a main-body casing, and the operating unit is housed in an operation-part casing, so as to dispose the washing water discharging unit and the operating unit in separate positions. The operating unit has the circuit board wherein the operating switch is disposed, and upper and lower sides of the circuit board are covered with a sheet-like cover.
