PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seawater inlet channel having an electrochemical contamination-proofing means with high compatibility to environment capable of largely increasing the interval of a work for removing adhered shells by increasing the contamination-proofing effect on the seawater inlet channel and also capable of performing an electrolytic protection. SOLUTION: Anchor bolts 3 for fixing panels are buried at some positions in the side wall 2 of the seawater inlet channel 2 allowing seawater to pass therethrough. A conductive rubber panel 4 is fixed with the anchor bolts so as to cover the side wall, and a DC power supply having a controller is connected with the conductive rubber panel used as a positive pole and the anchor bolts projected from the seawater inlet channel used as a negative pole. The conductive rubber panel 4 is formed by applying a conductive rubber lining 42 on the front surface of a substrate 41 formed of conductive material and a corrosive insulation rubber lining 43 on the rear surface thereof.
