PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cationic electrodeposition coating material composition which contains a resin composition having sulfonium group, propargyl group and an unsaturated double bond and which has good stability and impact resistance. SOLUTION: The cationic electrodeposition coating material composition contains a resin composition (A), a resin composition (B), a metal catalyst and an oxyme compound, wherein the resin composition (A) contains a polyester polyol, a polyether polyol, a polycarbonate polyol, a polyurethane polyol, a polyolefin polyol and an acrylic polyol, and a polymer obtained by reacting the polyol with a compound having isocyanato group, carboxyl group and epoxy group in the molecule, a dialkyl carbonate, a cyclic carbonate, an alcohol, or a mixture thereof, and wherein the resin composition (B) contains sulfonium group, propargyl group and an unsaturated double bond respectively in amounts of 5-400 mmol, 10-485 mmol and 10-485 mmol for 100 g of solid matter.
