PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a special bathtub having visual effects with a smaller size which facilitates the attending work of bathing along with the saving of the quantity of hot water. SOLUTION: In a bathtub (2) for bathing, the shape of an inner bathtub (3) is made smaller in width thereof (3) on the side (4) of leg parts therein and on the side (5) of the head parts therein of bathing persons and made larger in width thereof (3) at a portion that lets the bathing persons cover in their fields of view from near the length-wise center of the inner bathtub (3) rather to the head parts of the bathing persons. In this manner, the inner bathtub (3) is formed to a necessary minimum size except for the portion with the larger width thereof (3), and in the outline, the bathtub (2) is made to match the shape of the inner bathtub (3). Thus, a special bathtub having visual effects is produced with the bathtub (2) minimized to the necessary size as a whole.
