PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sanitarily excellent toilet device enabling a physically weak person to easily and safely stand up and sit down alone and keep a stable posture. SOLUTION: The toilet device is provided with: a toilet seat 1; a toilet seat receiving base 2 on which a toilet seat 1 is mounted; a supporting frame 4 provided with a pair of left and right unequal angle quadratic links 3 supporting the toilet seat receiving base 2 vertically movably between an elevated position to incline the base 2 downwards at the front part and a lowered position to make the base 2 be in a horizontal state; and a motor-driven expansion/ contraction driving body 5 swinging and driving one of the unequal angle quadratic links 3 of the supporting frame 4 so as to stop it at a stepless swing position. The thickness of the toilet seat receiving base 2 is reduced.
