<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope, which can be easily inserted to a vascular cavity by applying a driving force from a driving source to an inserting part in simple structure. SOLUTION: An endoscope 1 has an inserting part 2, an operating part 3, and a rotary solenoid 4 installed in the operating part 3. A pat 5 and a transmitting member 6 are inserted in a pass 16 formed inside the inserting part 2. When a rotor 42 of the rotary solenoid 4 reciprocates and turns, an arm 44 attached to the rotor 42 makes a first member 61 of the transmitting member 6 reciprocate along the base end part of the pass 16. Thus, the transmitting member 6 reciprocates along the lengthwise direction of the pass 16 and the pat 5 attached on the top end of the transmitting member 6 repeatedly reciprocates as well. The reciprocating pat 5 repeatedly collides with a collision part 27 on the top end of the pass 16. The transmitting member 6 can control the flexibility of a coil part 63 by axially compressing the coil part 63.</p> |
