PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for extraction of clear coffee. SOLUTION: This method for extraction of clear coffee comprises the following steps: putting milled coffee material M on the upper surface of a lower part filtering material 15 provided in a column body 5, setting an upper part filtering material 16 at the position nearly corresponding to the upper surface of the coffee material M at the condition of naturally piling up, or at the position slightly apart upward from the upper surface of the coffee material M to fix the upper part filtering material 16 to the column body 5, pouring hot water or cold water into the column body up to the position L exceeding the upper part filtering material 16 to extract coffee, taking out the thus extracted coffee from the lower position of the lower filtering material 15.
